Kathryn Daly has been appraising businesses and business interests since 1988. She specializes in valuations for financial reporting purposes and the structuring and valuation of ESOPs. Kathryn provides financial advisory services and fairness opinions in transactions. She has extensive experience in conducting valuations for financial reporting compliance, intangible asset valuations and allocations, and stock option valuations.
Kathryn is an Accredited Senior Appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers designated in Business Valuation. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Finance, with a minor in Economics, cum laude, from George Washington University. She is a member of the ESOP Association and current member and past Chair of the ESOP Association’s Valuation Advisory Committee; a member of the ESOP Association's Interdisciplinary Committee on Fiduciary Issues; and an officer with the Northwest Chapter of the ESOP Association. Kathryn is a past member of the ESOP Association’s Annual Awards Selection Committee, and the Annual Meeting Committee.
Kathryn is a frequent speaker, lecturer, and instructor on matters involving valuation in general and ESOP valuation methodologies and financial advisory practices. She has presented on valuation issues to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Task Force on Pre-IPO Valuation, to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and to the U.S. Department of Labor.
Kathryn is qualified as an expert witness on business valuation issues.
