MINNEAPOLIS, MN, January 9, 2012 — Chartwell Capital Solutions is excited to announce the addition of Kathryn Daly who will lead the firm’s new Portland office.  Kathryn will enhance Chartwell’s corporate finance, strategic advisory and business valuation services in the Pacific Northwest region, effective January 2, 2012.

Kathryn is a leading authority in valuations for financial reporting purposes and the structuring and valuation of ESOPs. She provides transactional financial advisory services and fairness opinions and has extensive experience in conducting valuations for financial reporting compliance, intangible asset valuations and allocations, and stock option valuations.

Kathryn is an Accredited Senior Appraiser and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a major in Finance and minor in Economics from George Washington University.  She has developed an excellent reputation by serving the business valuation and financial advisory needs of privately held businesses since 1988.  Kathryn is a current member and past Chair of the ESOP Association’s Valuation Advisory Committee; a member of the ESOP Association's Interdisciplinary Committee on Fiduciary Issues; and an officer with the Northwest Chapter of the ESOP Association.
